On February 8, 2018, JANSI was visited by five representatives of China National Nuclear Power Co., Ltd. (CNNP), including Director Tao Zhang.

The CNNP is cooperating in the Chinese industrial field’s efforts to train Chinese self-regulating organization and incorporate international standards. Because there was interest in learning about Japan’s efforts, we introduced JANSI’s work in areas such as peer review and overall evaluation.

Zhang spoke about the CNNP’s safety improvement activities, and explained how they were making efforts to gain the understanding of not only the regulators but the general public.
