On November 15, 2017, JANSI was visited by William Magwood, Director-General of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development/Nuclear Energy Agency (OECD/NEA), and Yeonhee Hah, Head of the Division of Radiological Protection and Human Aspects of Nuclear Safety.

At present, the NEA is working to develop a training curriculum to improve safety culture at nuclear power plants around the world by leveraging the cultural background of individual countries.

JANSI gave an overview of the safety culture assessment it has been developing since it was known as JANTI, and also introduced JANSI’s Seven Principles of Safety Culture, which serve as the basis of its evaluation.
