The FY 2017 general assembly of the member companies of JANSI was held on June 14, 2017, on the 13th floor of Mita Bellju Bldg., Minato-ku, Tokyo.

In the meeting, several items were deliberated including the FY 2016 JANSI activity reports and financial statements as the first bill, the FY 2017 JANSI activity plans and budget balances as the second bill, the appointments of directors, etc. as the third and fourth bills and the revision of articles of incorporation as the fifth bill. All bills were approved unamimously.

Following the general assembly, the board of directors meeting was held. The new JANSI managements were proposed and approved.

After the general assembly, an invited lecturer, Mr. Hiroshi Kainuma, associate professor, Kinugasa Research Center, Ritsumeikan University, made a special presentation titled “The status of Fukushima and future challenges”.
