• Annual Conference 2024 Program

JANSI held the "JANSI Annual Conference 2024" on March 13th 2024. This tenth annual conference was viewed by about 400 people by online, and, was attended by 100 members of the Institute and domestic/foreign experts.

The conference was held to help set appropriate themes related to nuclear power, think of them as the issues of JANSI members and nuclear professionals themselves, and confirm the direction of future efforts while taking into account domestic and international trends.

The program started with message from Mr. Tomoyuki Sugiyama (Commissioner, Nuclear Regulation Authority, Japan (NRA)), and Mr. Kazuhiro Ikebe (Chairman, Federation of Electric Power Companies).

Next Mr. Jeff Lyash TVA(Tennessee Valley Authority)CEO gave a keynote speech “Continuous Improvement”.

In the panel discussion, under the theme of “Continuous Improvement : How to roll out in Japan”, Moderator : Mr. Akio Yamamoto(Professor, Nagoya University Graduate School of Engineering) chaired and Mr. Lyash, Mr. Hiroyuki Yamaguchi (Professor, Kyushu Univ. Graduate School of Human-Environment Studies), Mr. Kingo Hayashi (President and Director, Chubu Electric Power Co., Inc.), and Hiromi Yamazaki,(President & CEO of JANSI) were on stage for discussion.
