The Investigative Commission for QMS Issues provides assistance to improve the effectiveness of operators’ quality assurance activities.

• The Commission picks up common issues associated with operators’ quality assurance, reviews how to address them, and encourages the operator’s voluntary maintenance activities. Where appropriate, a Working Group will be set up to study how to address the common issues.
• The Commission will collect maintenance information and put the data under unified control.
  It enables information sharing among Japanese nuclear operators, analyzing and offering feedback on the trend of maintenance information.
