• JANSI Annual Conference 2025 Program

JANSI held the "JANSI Annual Conference 2025" on March 12th 2025. This 12th annual conference was viewed by about 400 people by online, and, was attended by 100 members of the Institute and domestic/foreign experts.

The conference was held to help set appropriate themes related to nuclear power, think of them as the issues of JANSI members and nuclear professionals themselves, and confirm the direction of future efforts while taking into account domestic and international trends.

The program started with message from Mr. Shinya Nagasaki (Commissioner, Nuclear Regulation Authority, Japan (NRA)), and Mr. Kingo Hayashi (Chairman, Federation of Electric Power Companies).

Next Ms. Amanda Donges INPO(Institute of Nuclear Power Operations)SVP and Mr. Rick Libra Southern Nuclear Power Company CNO gave keynote speech “Initiative of education and Training in the United States”.

In the panel discussion, under the theme of “Improvement of proficiency in the nuclear power industry”, Moderator : Mr. Makoto Takahashi(Professor, Graduate School of Engineering, Tohoku University) chaired and Ms. Donges, Mr. Libra, Mr. Etienne Dutheil Electricité de France(EDF) Director, , Mr. Kojiro Higuchi(Tohoku Electric Power Co., Inc.) Representative Director and President, and Isao Kato(President & CEO of JANSI) were on stage for discussion.
