The FY 2016 general assembly of the member companies of JANSI was held on June 15, 2016, on the 13th floor of Mita Bellju Bldg., Minato-ku, Tokyo.

In the meeting, several items were deliberated including the FY2015 JANSI activity reports and financial statements as the first bill, the FY2016 JANSI activity plans and budget balances as the second bill and the appointments of directors, etc. as the third and fourth bills. All bills were approved unanimously.

Following the general assembly, the board of directors meeting was held. The new JANSI managements were proposed and approved, including appointments of Shojiro Matsuura as President & CEO, Hiromi Yamazaki as Executive Vice President, and others.

After the general assembly, an invited lecturer, Professor Ken Koyama, Managing Director and Chief Economist, the Institute of Energy Economics, Japan, made a special presentation titled “Domestic and lnternational Energy Issues and the Role of Nuclear Power”.
